Emergency Program Information

Please see below for more detailed information on the LASER Emergency Program.

Hours of Operation:

8 am – 3 pm

While we have access to the playground, we will not be going on any field trips or utilizing the minibus.

Lunch & Snacks:

Students are required to bring NUT-FREE, nonperishable morning snack and lunch. If the students’ food contains nuts, it will be thrown away. LASER will provide an afternoon snack.

Tuition & Fees:

The tuition is $145/child/day. We can accept DSHS and City of Seattle Childcare Assistance Program subsidies but are unable to offer sibling discounts at this time.

Billing & Refunds:

Parents will be billed monthly (similar to the after-school program). Parents will be responsible for the full tuition of registered days—refunds or credits will not be issued for missed days. For a full refund, a four-week notice must be given for cancellations or a reduction of days in a student’s schedule.

End Date:

Depending on local, state and federal regulations, the emergency program may need to end abruptly. In this case, we will provide notice as soon as possible.

If LASER is able to operate its summer program, this emergency program will end on June 18th and the regularly/modified scheduled summer camp program will commence.

Should summer camp be canceled due to ordinances, the emergency program will continue in its place, unless otherwise stated. Parents would be refunded for any of the cancelled weeks of summer camp.
