2026-27 After-school Program Registration

2026-27 After-school Program Registration

Enrollment Info

Registration for the 2026-27 school year at Bryant and Laurelhurst is open. However, the window to be included in the priority enrollment lottery has closed. Registrations are now processed first-come, first-serve, with students offered available spots, or placed on the waitlist if full. Registration is for everyone: current students, new students, and incoming kindergartners. Please note that enrollment does NOT automatically renew.

How to Register:

Once you submit your application, a confirmation in your internet browser will appear on your screen.  Please allow two weeks to receive an email confirming status for after-school care in the 2026-27 school year.

Enrollment & Lottery Info:

Space is limited. Enrollment is lottery-based, with priority given to currently enrolled afterschool care families. We’ll do our best to accommodate as many families as possible—don’t let limited space stop you from registering. We are committed to making LASER a program for all.

  • Monday, June 15th: Lottery results announcement date, including placement or waitlist status. Accepted families will receive an invoice for a school year deposit and new student registration fee (if applicable). The deposit is required to reserve your spot and will be applied to your last month of care.

  • After the lottery window closes, registrations are processed first-come, first-serve, with students offered available spots, or placed on the waitlist if full.

Room Placement:

New this year, in response to parent feedback!

On the registration form, parents can list the name of ONE other child to place in the same room. THIS IS A ONE-TIME REQUEST, and we cannot guarantee friend placement.

Our staff are dedicated to building strong communities and helping every child develop friendship-making skills. While we understand your child may have social preferences, they’ll have many opportunities throughout the afternoon to spend time with friends from other rooms. We are unable to accommodate requests for room changes, but we’re excited to support your child in making new friends while maintaining existing ones throughout the school year.

There are many space and scheduling considerations when assigning rooms. To best serve the needs of our families, children may be placed in a mixed-age room with peers from the grade above or below.
