Day Camp
LASER offers full-day camp on school closure days such as school breaks and teacher in-service days.
We schedule exciting field trips each day including a wide variety of activities, such as swimming, sports, museums, arts and crafts, games, cooking, nature and science activities, and much more.
LASER camps are open to all children between the ages of 5 years old to 12 years old that have completed the online registration and submitted the required paperwork.
Day camp is held at our Bryant location from 8 am to 6:30 pm.
If we are going on a field trip, children should arrive no later than 10:00 am and be prepared to ride on buses or walk to nearby activities. Drop-off and pick-up is in the school cafeteria. We are typically away from LASER on field trips from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm, so we are unable to accommodate half-day or morning/afternoon only schedules.
2023 Day Camp Schedule
A typical schedule for day camp is as follows:

For day camp, your child should bring a backpack with:
- Nutritious, nut-free sack lunch that does not require refrigeration or heating
- Good walking shoes
- Water bottle
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Swimsuit and towel (for field trips to beaches and pools)
- Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat (if sunny)
LASER offers day camp during the following breaks and in-service days:
- Delayed Start for Kindergarteners (not in 2021)
- October In-Service Day
- Veteran's Day
- Thanksgiving Break (closed on Thanksgiving and the Friday after)
- Winter Break (closed on Christmas Eve and Day)
- Day Between Semesters Closure in January
- Mid-Winter Break (closed on President's day)
- Spring Break

LASER is CLOSED and does not provide camp on the following dates:
- New Year’s Day (observed)
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- President’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day (observed)
- Labor Day and the Tuesday after
- Thanksgiving and the Friday after
- Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (observed)
